WOUND CARE NURSE

Long Term Care + Subacute Facility. Brooklyn NY.

Position: As the WOUND CARE RN, you will plan and implement daily operation of Skin and Wound Management within the Wound Care Program under the supervision of Director of Nursing Services.

Qualifications: NYS RN with 4 Years in LTC/Subacute + min. 2 years Wound Care

Job Responsibilities:

  • Excellent time management skills in long term and sub-acute care settings.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of current and new healing management techniques i.e., knowledge of skin and wound management, epidemiology, and infection control principles.
  • Efficiently communicates with Director of Nursing and Physicians.
  • Attends/ leads rounds.
  • Detailed oriented & computer proficiency.
  • EMR (SigmaCare)

Compensation:

  • $120k-$145k/ Negotiable per Exp + Cert’s.

DIALYSIS NURSE MANAGER (NYS RN) for Brand New, Free-Standing, Outpatient Dialysis Center (not affiliated with Big 3) in Queens, NY. Close to all mass transportation. Parking is available.

This is a Full Time Position (3 days or 5 days possible). The ideal candidate will have Nurse Leadership Experience and possess a strong skill set in Dialysis Care.

  • Provide direct patient care in dialysis treatment

  • Monitor patients undergoing dialysis treatment and adjust care plans as needed

  • Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures and self-care techniques

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients

Requirements:

  • Valid NYS RN license (required) and CDN or CPDN (preferred)

  • Experience in dialysis care is required

  • Proficiency in venipuncture and IV therapy

  • EMR

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range:

$110k – $130k.
